And that’s a wrap!

On Saturday 25th October, 300 guests joined together to celebrate 50 years of changing lives and creating magic.

Pegasus’ Shine for a Cause Golden Gala was held at the National Arboretum on a beautiful evening starting with canapes out the back, live entertainment by Sophie Edwards and roaming magician, Jacob Kobold. Although it was the horses who stole the show while the sun was setting and canapes being served.

The night continued inn the main building, hosted by Cam Sullings, guests were treated to interviews with Daniel Batholomaeus, 2025 ACT young Australian of the year, and past Pegasus participant and volunteer. And Mary Lishomwa, parent to little Abigail, current Pegasus participant and what Pegasus has done for them both.

Entertainment continued throughout the night with Hamish Hudson performing his original music, a little different from his usual comedy performances, Hamish brought a fresh, acoustic touch to the night. With the Baker Boys wrapping up the event with their high energy covers to get the dance floor moving.

There were also live and silent auctions, raffles, and even a collection of beautifully presented used rocking horses for bidding.

Thank you to everyone who came along to support our once in a lifetime event, and thank you to our sponsor for making it possible.
